Mattracks received a Certificate of Commendation from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) for its contributions in manufacturing. The recognition was received as part of Minnesota Manufacturing Month during which DEED is honoring organizations making an impact in the state’s $58.7 Billion manufacturing industry.
“Mattracks plays a critical role in Minnesota’s economy, and we’re pleased to present the 2024 Certificate of Recognition for your contributions to our manufacturing economy,” said Matt Varilek, Commissioner. “The recipients of this award make Minnesota a better place to live and work.”
Last year, manufacturing workers took home $24.9 billion in wages from Minnesota manufacturing jobs. With an average annual wage of $76,950, this number is 10-percent higher than the state’s average private sector wage. According to DEED, there is a high demand for manufacturing positions, making it a viable career choice with an expected 75,000 openings in manufacturing production through 2030.
“We’re pleased to be recognized by our state’s economic development leaders,” commented Glen Brazier, Founder and CEO of Mattracks. “For nearly 30 years, we’ve been committed to continuing to expand our manufacturing business – from prototype to production. We’re grateful for our hard-working, dedicated team members and for increasing demand from a global, diverse customer base.”
